The gazelle symbolizes new beginnings—a transition from one phase of life to another. Representing strength, grace, agility, and beauty, it reminds us to appreciate life’s simple joys and the importance of using personal power for good.

Gazelle Art Studio embodies my own new beginning: a journey from being a marketing professor to becoming a professional artist.

As a marketing professor, my research and teaching centered on consumer well-being and happiness. As an artist, I carry this same aspiration—to uplift and inspire well-being through my art. Each piece I create is guided by colors and techniques that spark joy for me, with the hope that these emotions are reflected in my work and transferred to those who view it. My inspiration often comes from the things I cherish most: nature (especially seas, oceans, and lakes), books, music, friends, and family.

I love working with acrylic paints, especially in shades of blue and red. Acrylic pouring and crackle painting are among my favorite techniques, as they bring an element of surprise and spontaneity to the creative process—moments that usually bring me joy (and, occasionally, a bit of frustration too!).

I also enjoy exploring the possibilities of resin art, creating intricate designs with molds, and capturing the stunning landscapes of the Pacific Northwest through photography.

Gazelle Art Studio is my way of sharing beauty, positivity, and connection with the world—one creation at a time.
